This Pro Mixed Doubles GOLD match is a grudge match from 2018, when Simone Jardim and Kyle Yates defeated Matt Wright and Lucy Kovalova in a tight match that went to 3 games.
Simone and Kyle are two of the most winning players in the history of the US Open, they have the hometown advantage, and are one scary duo to go up against. However, they should not expect an easy win. Both Matt and Lucy are top level collegiate tennis players and often play together in their hometown of Wichita, Kansas. So the question is, do Simone and Kyle still have the magic to take home gold, or will the Kansas duo flip the script of history and walk away victorious?
